The
regular Innovation Forum is a monthly meeting for Christian techs & other innovative types.... Surfers,
writers, consultants, site-designers, web-servants, programmers,
office-workers,
graphic-artists, and 'wannabees'. We're simply looking for 'driven
Christians' who desire to work together to see things change... to the
glory of God.
Btw,
this group of Christian techs and other innovative change-agents are
starting to meet regularly, in active support of the growing Transform
Indiana movement, the affiliated CCDA Indy 2005 effort, and all the
great churches and ministries who are getting involved. These
techs are donating their time and expertise to help build the kingdom of
God here at the speed of Light.
Come
connect with us -- you'll feel warmly welcomed and right at home!

Our
Mission: "Accelerating
City-Reaching by Exploiting Innovative Opportunities..
That
is... we share the Church's common goals -- the Great
Commission and the Cultural Mandate. And we
share the overall goals of our affiliate Transform Indiana
(and its urban counterpart -- CCDA)... networking for
greater prayer, care & share. Uniquely, we can
best serve their organizations via technology support and
innovation in general... ie, seizing opportunities created
by changes in today's world... political, economic,
social-cultural and technological (typically, the latter).
We then extend our impact by replicating trainers of e-capable
Christians.
Vision:
Someday... say Nov.2005... May we have a citywide
network of e-capable collaborative centers, working together
toward the common mission, the TI concept, and the CCDA
heart... with a fully developed and functioning WYNS
network (including Christian Emergency Network), serving
our city as a servant-evangelism system.
Our
Ongoing Prayer: "Father God, help us to
humbly work together to find and implement ways to reach our
city faster with your truth, love, mercy & justice.
While we admit you don't need anything made by our human
hands, we ask to be used by you. Help us make a
difference by being salt and light in the world you gave us.
We make it our goal to please you."
Goal
for Oct: Meet,
greet & eat... and continue down the road re practical
changes asap.

At
10:00 a.m on EVERY Saturday, Lord willing...
everyone is invited to sign up to volunteer as helpers for some
informal training of folks in the cafe neighborhood. Give up
a couple of hours on some Saturday. Just to help people with
the bare essentials -- things you already can do that others
can't. Surf, email, etc. The neighborhood
training will last from 10am til noon. Sign up for a
Saturday if
you'd like to start making a difference in somebody's life TODAY,
as we seek to help cross the 3 great divides of life...
Digital
Divide -- Helping the Have-nots, catch up with the Haves in
the digital world.
Multi-cultural Divide -- Helping us together become the
loving people God created.
God's Eternal Divide -- Introducing folks to the BEST info
on the Information Highway.
