Meeting Notes 1/15/03
The January meeting was held at the Urban Collaborative Center at 12th & Central, from 12:00noon – 2:00pm, with Neil Cox hosting. The following were in attendance: Eldon Kibbey, Neil Cox, Ian Hookfin, Ray Childers, Marvin Gainer, Tia Nielsen, Gary Kirschman, and Bill Bean, Bob Amon, and newcomers, Jason Ward, Rev. Shirley Baker, Rev. Bryan Hudson, Rev. Mel Jackson and Steven Runyon. Dave Putman was unable to join us, due to the death of his father-in-law in Iowa.
Introductions went into more detail than in the past, and, as a result, we accomplished little else. It was an exciting meeting, as we found out about the various transformational ministries that were represented. We were all encouraged to see what God is doing in our midst, and to see the value of connecting, sharing resources, and networking with each other.
We did not view the 4th city on the Transformation video, because we ran out of time.
We did set up the next 2 meeting times & locations, and established our standard meeting day as the 2nd Tuesday of each month. (Please mark your calendars.)
Our next meeting: Tuesday,
February 11, 2003, 12 noon – 2:00 pm
Location: Frame Nursing Home, 373 North Holmes (corner
of Holmes & Vermont)

Copies of the current Purpose Statement proposals were distributed, and attendees were encouraged to study them & make suggestions.
It was suggested that calendar items for 2003 be given to Neil Cox for inclusion on the master calendar.
We discussed the need to develop a database for Transform Indiana to facilitate the connections that are an integral part of the effort.
Action steps:
Develop a Prayer Team – pray for a leader for a statewide effort
Continue to invite others who are involved in transformational ministry
Pray for the development of an Internet database
Respectfully submitted
Eldon Kibbey
